Welcome to the Woodland Puppy Paw Family

I am so very grateful to you for allowing my family to bring a new furbaby to your home.  I enjoyed helping you choose the puppy that best fit your family.  Your puppy is so very smart and most people have no issues potty training their puppy to pee and poop outside in the grass.  I recommend using a bell on the door for potty training.  It has proven time and again to be a successful tool for my puppies and dogs.  Bernedoodles are very smart and unbelievably fast learners.  Repetition is key and setting a timer for every two hours is best to keep accidents down to a minimum.

Please find a vet and schedule a vet check within a week of receiving your precious puppy.  This keeps your puppy on the correct vaccination schedule and confirms the health of the puppy.  You will also need to find a groomer and make an appointment with them for around 16-24 weeks. Many groomers are pushed out at least 8 weeks.

Below is a list of items I would suggest buying for your sweet puppy.  I am giving you the items I have used on your puppy or ones that I trust.  Many families ask for a list of items their furbaby would need, but obviously, these are just suggestions not requirements.  I use Amazon because of convenience but many places carry the items.

AMAZON RECOMMENDED LIST

Nutri Source Small Breed Puppy Food

Crate to hold a dog that will be 35-45 pounds as an adult.  Be sure not to get one too big so the puppy does not sleep in one end and poop in the other by accident.  I have found getting a crate with a divider is helpful when they are puppies.  You can adjust/remove the divider as they age.
